Vendor metadata recommendation

By Kim Walton 29th January 2014 24th October 2014  metadata

This document was produced for the October 2013 Tikit/UKDEG Word Excellence Day.

There was a Vendor challenge session focussed on metadata cleaning products.  As part of the preparation for the event, the Vendors were asked to provide recommendations and comments on how to configure the products in a collaboration scenario (where documents are passed back and forth between law firms).  The attached document contains this information – Vendor metadata recommendations.

March 2014 update: DocsCorp have recently released their cleanDocs metadata tool, which did not exist at the time of the Word Excellence Day.  We have given them the same opportunity to provide their recommendations based on a collaboration scenario and publish their document here as is.  DocsCorp – Collaborative Scenario Recommendations.
