You will notice that this year we have changed the name of the event from Word Excellence to Document Excellence. Over the last few years the emphasis of the event has moved away from purely Word to consider all aspects of document production (automation, templates, comparison, etc) and all the other things that need to be considered when publishing and collaborating (publishing methods, security, etc). We hope the new name better reflects the content of the day while still emphasising our core consideration – documents.
We wish to thank our Document Excellence Day partner and sponsor (Tikit) along with our hosts (BT Centre), our evening drinks reception sponsors (Microsystems, Tikit, Workshare), the event chair (Clare Waller) and all of our speakers and guests for helping to make the day such a success.

Don’t take our Word for it…
This year, several of our attendees and some of the organising committee have written up their thoughts of the day. We’ll add them here as we receive them. Our event chair will also give a “behind the scenes” look at what goes into planning the day and making sure it runs smoothly.

"Another fantastic day; this year's topics were hugely relevant to everything being considered in my (and most other) firms at the minute."
Kate McDermott, Trowers & Hamlins
"The Document Excellence Day was great, well organized. Topics and venue was superb. Really enjoyed the day and met up with lots of old colleagues who I haven't seen for years and made some really great contacts."
Marlene Raymond, Forsters
"Excellent day. Really well organised and lovely food (especially the scones)! All of the speakers were excellent and I always learn a lot from attending. It's a great day to keep my knowledge up to date and share experiences."
